I thank Scarborough Police Officer Michael Sawyer for taking the time to let me meet our new K9 officer, Kona, a couple weeks ago. Seeing the canine cruiser reminded me that I wanted to stop in the police station to ask about public events where we might see Kona, and Officer Sawyer was gracious enough to stop by the station to introduce me to the dog. Thank you as well to the dispatch officer who made the call for me.

This is just an example of the community feeling in Scarborough that makes this a special place to live.
