That smell

A 22-year-old man stopped on County Road for drifting in his lane and leaving the road May 31 was summonsed for operating under the influence and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

 

Crank call

Police waited in Shaw’s parking lot on Payne Road June 1 after reports of several calls from someone fraudulently trying to obtain prescription drugs. The caller did not come to the store.

 

Casting about

A man fishing in the Nonesuch River June 2 was asked to move away from the road by police.

 

That’s low

Police said a June 2 reported theft of flowers from a grave in Scarborough Memorial Cemetery is the fourth theft from the site since Christmas.

 

About last night …

A woman reported the attempted theft of her car on Church Street June 4 because she said she found keys in the ignition and the battery run down when she came out in the morning.
