Looking all over
Westbrook and Scarborough police officers were unable to find a vehicle reported to be nearly involved in a head-on collision Feb. 15 after it was seen weaving on County Road.
Just fine
Officers determined the driver of a pickup truck stopped by police near Eight Corners Variety on Mussey Road Feb. 17 was not intoxicated as a caller had complained.
Turned in
Police notified the owner of a credit or debit card after it was found Feb 16 by someone on Old Blue Point Road.
Cold case
A black leather jacket with a hood, worth more than $100, was stolen Feb. 17 from a car left overnight near Mougalian Rugs on Payne Road.
Tread softly
A 20-year-old man was summonsed Feb. 17 for theft after he attempted to leave Super Wal-Mart wearing shoes he had tried on. Although he paid for several other clothing items, police said, he allegedly left his old shoes in the box for the shoes he was wearing when summonsed.
Icy response
A woman who reportedly threw a cup of soda at an employee at the drive-through window of Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 1 Feb. 19 has been served with a criminal trespass notice.
