Letter: Neighborly help (Printed Jan. 29, 2010)
To the editor:
Getting yourself stuck in an unplowed driveway isn’t that bad – at least in Scarborough. After five minutes or so of spinning my tires into a rut, a gentleman in a suit appeared to help. Shortly thereafter, a truck with a plow cleared a path.
Another young man pulled in to ask if he could help. Then, to top this lovely experience off, one of Scarborough’s finest pulled over to check my welfare. All are worth their weight in gold.
