Police responding to a complaint about a suspicious vehicle on Jan. 4 at Hurd Park found “two subjects engaging in contact with each other.” They were told to move along.
Cold cash
A woman reported $460 was stolen from her car while she shopped at Hannaford Bros. on Jan. 4.
Bad manners
A 23-year-old male was charged with assault and violating his probation or parole after a complaint he slapped a driver of another vehicle on Jan. 4. The man was arrested at Broadturn Road and Route 1 and his 17-year-old companion was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Gone, baby, gone
Police were unable to find the driver of a silver pickup truck reported to be driving erratically on Route 1 on Jan. 5.

Two wallets found at Super Wal-Mart on Jan. 5 were turned over to police. At least one wallet has been claimed by its owner.
