NASCAR Nite at Beechridge this Sat.
Opening night of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series is in the books and what a start. Returning champions, rookie runaways, old rivalries reborn and fresh new rivalries created, all on the first night.
The second installment of NASCAR Nite is this Saturday, May 30. Cost is $10. Kids 12 and younger free. Qualifying at 6:30 p.m., main events at 7:30 p.m.
Catch back-to-back hundred lap races in June, including Saturday, June 6, the Coors Light Pro Series 100 and Saturday, June 13, the Budweiser Sport Series 100.
Both nights feature qualifying at 6:30 p.m., the main events at 7:30 p.m., and the same NASCAR family ticket price.
Thursday Thunder opens June 11. Still two hours of non-stop fun, cost is $4.

Community Builders 15, Jones & Warren 7
Community Builders recorded their first win of the season with a convincing victory over Jones & Warren. Led by the pitching of Sierra Muchie and Brittany Plowman the CB team had hits from 1 to 12 in the lineup.

Amato’s continued their hot hitting. Anna Driscoll, Megan Murrell, Grace Bailer, Tori Hale, Julia Walker and Chelsea Hughes collecting a pair each. Hughes had a big knock with a stand up double in the 3rd. Murrell pitched the first 2 innings, and Mary Farnkoff closed it out retiring the last 5 batters consecutively.
