A big “thank you” to the residents of Scarborough for making Kiwanis’s yearly food drive a success. Members of the Scarborough schools Builders Club, Key Club and K. Kids went house-to-house collecting needed items and Kiwanis members delivered to the Food Cupboard.

Both the Scarborough Food Pantry and the South Portland Food Cupboard received these donations and at a time when both pantries are helping more families. The Food Cupboard has seen a 15 percent increase in need and has at least 10 new clients a week. We are very grateful to all who participated in this event. It helps!
