The boards of the Scarborough Community Chamber and Scarborough Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) wish to thank those in the business community who participated in a series of successful forums that took place March 4 and March 5 at the Scarborough municipal building.

As previously reported, the two organizations are reaching out to the community in an effort to gather the thoughts of citizens and business owners regarding the direction of economic development in the future.  The forums were the first in a series of activities to engage as many people as possible. 

 We recognize that some businesses expressed an interest in participating in our forums but were unable to for various reasons. Should they still wish to be involved, we suggest they email the SEDCO office: sedco@maine.rr.com.

 Please watch for notices about upcoming forums for the entire community in the spring. Information about these forums will be posted on the SEDCO and chamber Web sites.
