   On behalf of the Libby-Mitchell American Legion Post 76 baseball team in Scarborough, I want to thank all those people who helped our Scarborough Historical Christmas ornament sales another success this year.

   We were able to sell almost all the ornaments we had available.

    This has enabled us to pay bills from this past summer for field use, insurance, and equipment. We also had money to make our annual team contributions to Salvation Army, Goodwill, and Good Shepard Food Bank.

   Thanks for Shirley’s Hallmark, Brenda Buttarazzi of Scarborough Dental Associates, and Higgins Beach Inn for all their help!

   We have some bulbs left over from this year which featured Higgins Beach Inn. We also have some from past years; those buildings or spots featured on those ornaments – Libby-Mitchell Post building (so called Charles Lindbergh site), North Scarborough Grange Hall, Bette’s Better Burgers, Scarborough High School, Bayley’s Lobster Pound and Spurwink Country Kitchen Restaurant. 

   Year end sale prices are $l2.95 for one; $20 for two; $25 for three and $30 for four!
