Letter: Phil Csoros will work for the good of community (Sept. 26, 2008)

Editor:

Allow me to tell the good people of Scarborough about a refreshing, new candidate for the state senate. This November, I’ll be voting for Phil Csoros to represent Scarborough as the state senator for District 6.

I too, think it is time to change from the same old “tax and spend” cycle that has gotten our state in so much debt. I know Phil will work to limit excessive spending so that we can avoid new debt and have a chance at the tax relief we all deserve.

Phil Csoros is not a career politician, he’s an Air Force veteran and father of four who expects government to work for the people, not the other way around. Phil Csoros is a proven leader in community service, and he is willing to make the tough decisions necessary to balance our state budget and get Maine back on the right track to lower taxes and more job growth.

I urge all voters to join me in supporting Phil Csoros for state senate. He’s the right person to lead us in a return to a fiscally responsible government.

Linda Moulton
