On behalf of the Scarborough Baseball Equipment Recycling Program, we would like to thank the community for all its donations.  Since April, we have collected all sorts of baseball and softball equipment. We received approximately 40 bats, 30 batting helmets, 35 gloves, six catcher’s gear, 16 pairs of cleats, baseballs and softballs, and equipment bags. We will redistribute the slightly used items on Little League registration days next winter. For the more used items, we are making a wonderful donation to a third world country. We would also like to thank the Hannaford store for generously allowing us to setup a donation bin.  Last, we would like to thank the boys who volunteered to sort and bag all the items for the donation.
