Letter: Park not justified (Aug. 8, 2008)
Editor:
I read your article about the Black Point Park. This “park” is an affront to the taxpayers of this town. How can anyone feel justified in building this when 2,997 people didn’t want a larger one? Why would anyone feel a smaller one is OK.
This town has or will spend $350,000 plus for a “green space?” For a vegetable garden for some – or a fee? The fee will then be given to town charities?
I think someone’s priorities are a little bit off. By this is “going pretty well” – then I’m very confused.
