Expensive sandwhich
A laptop worth $1,139 and a credit card was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Quiznos in Scarborough. Police have no suspects.

Scary experience
A woman driving along Pine Point Road called police because she feared that she was being followed. She told police that she thought it had something to do with the fact that her home had been burglarized two weeks ago. Police could not locate the car as the only description the woman gave them was that it was a dark colored sedan.

Be careful
An 11-year-old child was bitten by their family dog. The child was treated for two puncture wounds and police said the dog was up to date on its shots.

Suspended license
A 53-year-old man was stopped for speeding on Holmes Road. Police discovered that he had a suspended license and the man was arrested.

Unruly kids
A Dunstan Avenue woman called police when a group of intoxicated juveniles, both male and female, wouldn’t let her leave her driveway. The woman said they were kicking her vehicle. When police arrived the juveniles were gone.

BB gun
Employees at an auto shop on Rte. One called police when they discovered that some damage was done to one of the vehicles in the parking lot. The passenger’s side window was broken out and the windshield damaged. The damage is suspected to be from a BB gun. Damage is estimated at $750.
