This Week's Editorial – By Lucas Knowles

Comments, opinions wanted

Now that a new year is upon us, we thought it would be a good time to remind people about our blog and what it offers.
Our blog started last summer. It has become an informal archive for those who would like to take advantage of it. We update it each week with that edition’s stories, interview, editorial and letters. If you have missed something that ran in previous weeks, you might want to check out the blog to get caught up.
Also, we have begun having a “Question of the Week” on our blog. Those that want to comment are free to do so. The “Question of the Week” will range in subject from local to national to international issues. We want to get our readers’ thoughts on happenings from not just in Scarborough, but around the world as well.
The Leader’s blog is meant to be a community forum where opinions are shared. Those who log on are free to comment on any story, interview, editorial or letter. All they have to do is perform a couple of clicks and their opinion is there. Although we encourage users to attach their name to any comment they make, they are free to express their opinion anonymously if they wish. After all, that is one of the positive (or negative, depending on your opinion) aspects of life on the internet.
Readers can reach our blog by clicking on the link located on our Web site (www.scarboroughleader.com) or by going to blog.scarboroughleader.com. Let’s make this the year where we make our blog the online forum we want it to be.
